FAQ'S
Can I have a roof lantern supply only or just installed?

As all roofing systems are from a 3 rd party, we do not offer them on a supply only basis. We would only offer the roofs installed, so we would need to check your location before providing you with a quotation.

Can I choose my glass on a Roof Lantern?

Yes, you can choose between clear toughened glass or active blue glass. Please bear in mind, the active glass is actually blue coloured, so if this doesn’t fit your aesthetic we would advise you choose the clear glass, as this already has an element of solar control within it.

Do I need planning permission for a roof lantern?

Generally speaking you don't require planning permission for roof lantern installations, with both new or pre-existing roofs.There are a few caveats such as; - Your roof lantern cannot be higher than the highest part of your existing roof - Any side elevation roof slope positioned roof lanterns must use obscure-glazing - No roof openings "unless the height is at least 1.7m above the floor" - Your roof lanterns must not extrude higher than 150mm above your preexisting roof - Other considerations are areas of conservation or if you live in a listed property
